Macro photography is fairly new to me, within the last 2 years. I thoroughly enjoy using a macro lens to see how close I can get, seeing details come to life that most wouldn't see with the naked eye, such as the ridges in the petals of tulips, the shimmer on orchids, or the pollen-laden stamens of flowers.
